Rangiora is a small North Canterbury Town surrounded by golf clubs, beaches, vineyards and rivers. It is ideally located for skiing in the winter – the nearest ski-field a little over an hour drive through the picturesque Porters Pass and Mt Hutt near Methven. Rangiora is also ideally located for day trips north to the hot pools at  Hanmer Springs and the whale watch at Kaikoura.

Your helpful and knowledgeable B&B hosts, Graham and Lynda (along with their 3 cats), invite you to stay with them in one of their 2 available double rooms complete with hairdryers and bathrobes.  The upstairs room has an ensuite bathroom and opens to an upstairs balcony whilst the downstairs room has a large private bathroom and easy access to the shared guest lounge where tea, coffee and home baking are always available. Free internet is available and we provide off street parking in a gated secure setting.

Rakaunui means tall trees and when you arrive you will see why! Our established garden provides a tranquil setting for a relaxing stay. Your continental breakfast includes New Zealand cheese and ham and freshly baked muffins. This will be served in the dining room at a time that is suitable. Home cooked evening meals are available at additional cost and by prior arrangement.
